Partner & CEO of Crescera, Daniel is focused on investments in education and technology. Prior to joining Crescera in 2008, he worked at McKinsey & Co in the PE & VC division, at Docas Participações, and as a Partner at Finance, focusing on M&A, VC, and restructuring. He holds an MBA from Kellogg School and a Specialist Degree in Finance from IBMEC.

With more than 20 years of solid experience in the financial market, Daniella has built a career marked by leadership, strategy and business transformation. Her trajectory combines private-sector efficiency, where she was Partner and COO at Bozano Investimentos, with high-impact public leadership roles, including serving as President of Caixa Econômica Federal and Special Secretary for Productivity and Competitiveness at Brazil’s Ministry of Economy.

Recognized for her expertise in management, corporate governance and business development, Daniella also speaks publicly about leadership, innovation, competitiveness and the challenges of the business environment. She is also an ambassador for W-CFO and Instituto Mantelli.

Alexandre Bettamio is Chair of Global Corporate & Investment Banking at BofA Securities, the institutional broker dealer business of Bank of America. In this leadership role, he is responsible for delivering best-in-class service to clients and deepening key relationships across the globe. He served as co-head of Global Investment Banking since 2023 and led the strategy and day-to-day operations of the firm’s Global Investment Banking business, including leading over 2,600 bankers globally. Mr. Bettamio is a member of Bank of America’s Management Committee and the Executive Committee of the Global Corporate & Investment Bank.

Previously, he served as President of Latin America for Bank of America and led the firm’s efforts across the region. Under his leadership, the firm received several awards for excellence in delivering for clients by some of the top global financial outlets covering Latin America. Bettamio joined the bank as head of Investment Banking for Brazil in 2008, and in that same year was named President of Bank of America Brazil.

Prior to joining the bank, he served in various leadership capacities at leading financial institutions, including co-head of UBS Pactual’s Investment Banking unit, as well as Salomon Brothers and Citibank in Brazil. He began his career in the international tax department of Price Waterhouse in San Francisco and São Paulo.

With over 30 years of wide-ranging experience covering financial markets, Bettamio has led numerous landmark IPO transactions and debt issuances in international markets and has also advised on several notable M&A transactions and privatization processes.

Bettamio served as President & Chairman of the Board of the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce from 2017 to 2019 and serves as a counselor to several philanthropic foundations.

He received a law degree from Mackenzie University in Brazil and is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association.

Laura Guaraná has been a partner at Crescera since 2008, playing a significant role in investments within the education sector. Previously, she worked at Banco BBM in the credit division, covering companies in the agribusiness sector, and in the equity research division focused on the mining and steel sectors, in addition to having worked at Grupo CTV in Lyon, France. She holds a degree in engineering and a Master's degree in Finance and Economics from FGV.

Partner and member of the Executive Committee at Crescera, which he joined in 2009. Felipe began his career as a Private Equity analyst at Gávea Investimentos in 2007, covering sectors such as agribusiness, logistics, retail, and public services. He has served on the boards of Anima and Afya, and currently serves as a board member of Kefraya, Vitru, and Grupo Alun. Felipe holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from IBMEC Business School-RJ.

Partner and member of the Executive Committee at Crescera, which he joined in 2013. In 2018, Fernando was selected as the 'Fund Manager' by ABVCAP (Brazilian Association of VC and PE). With more than 40 Venture Capital investments, he has been an investor at Grupo Opportunity and an Advisor at Axia Ventures. He is a Mathematician and holds a master’s degree in computer science from COPPE/UFRJ with cosupervision from IMPA.

Partner in Machado Meyer’s Corporate/M&A and Private Equity practice. He advises Brazilian and international clients on investments, divestments, complex M&A transactions, private equity deals, strategic contracts and foreign investment in Brazil. His experience spans sectors including agribusiness and fertilizers, healthcare, technology and fintechs, education, consumer retail and real estate. Mauro is admitted to the Brazilian Bar Association and the New York Bar, and has been recognized by leading legal rankings such as Chambers & Partners, Latin Lawyer 250, IFLR1000 and The Legal 500. He holds an LL.M. in Corporate & Securities Law from Cornell Law School and a law degree from PUC-SP.
